Company Summer Event Entertainment in OKC.jpg

Planning a company summer event sounds simple until you sit down to actually do it. You need something for the kids at the family picnic. Something for the adults who swear they are too cool for games. Something that works in the Oklahoma heat, fits the budget, and does not require you to chase four different vendors the week of the event.

That last part is where most event planners lose their minds. One vendor for the balloons. Another for the face painter. A third who stops answering the phone two weeks out. Before you know it, you are managing contracts and arrival times instead of enjoying the event you spent two months putting together.

Here's the thing. You do not need four vendors. You need one team that covers it all. That is exactly what we built LOL Cartoons to be, and summer is the season where it matters most.

Why Company Event Entertainment Usually Falls Flat

Think about the last company picnic you went to. There was food, a few folding tables, and a speaker playing music nobody picked. The kids were bored inside twenty minutes. The adults stood in small circles talking about work, which is the one thing a company picnic is supposed to help everyone forget.

The problem is rarely the budget. It is that entertainment gets treated as an afterthought. A bounce house keeps kids busy for a while, but it does nothing for the grown ups. A DJ fills the air, but nobody remembers the playlist on Monday. What people remember is what happened to them. The tiger painted across their kid's face. The balloon sword duel between sales and accounting. The caricature that ends up pinned above someone's desk for the next three years.

That is the kind of entertainment we bring. And we bring all of it under one roof.

One Booking, Every Age Group Covered

LOL Cartoons has been entertaining Oklahoma City since 2007, when Lawrence started making balloon animals to cheer up a friend's son in the hospital. What began as a way to make one kid smile has grown into a full party entertainment team working events across the OKC metro. We speak English and Spanish, we show up on time, and we cover every entertainment base your summer event needs.

Here is what one booking gets you.

Face Painting That Pulls In Kids and Adults

Our face painting station is the crowd favorite at every family day we work. Full face butterflies, superheroes, ghoulish monsters, or subtle designs for adults who want in without going full tiger. We use only professional grade, FDA approved paints that are safe for skin and wash off with soap and water. Fair warning though: most kids will fight hard to keep their design on through bath time.

Balloon Art That Draws a Crowd

Something happens the moment a balloon artist starts twisting. People stop and watch. Kids line up. Adults pretend they are just standing nearby, then quietly ask for a hat. Swords, dogs, unicorns, hats and full sculptures, all made live in front of your guests. Balloon twisting is the fastest way to put energy into a slow corner of your event, and it works on every age group at the same time.

Caricatures Your Team Takes Home

Most event entertainment disappears when the event ends. Caricatures do not. Our artists draw fast, funny cartoon portraits that your guests take home as a keepsake. Months later, that drawing is still on the fridge or taped to a cubicle wall, and your event is the story attached to it. For customer appreciation days, that is the kind of marketing you cannot buy with an ad budget.

A Glitter Bar for the Grown Ups

The newest addition to our lineup, and the one adults will not stop talking about. Our glitter bar lets guests build a custom look with an artist guiding them through options for hair, eye designs and body art, from a subtle shine to full sparkle. It loosens people up, gets strangers talking, and photographs beautifully, which your marketing team will love when the event photos come back.

The Summer Events We Cover

If your company is bringing people together this summer, we can entertain them. Company picnics and family days are our busiest bookings from June through September. We also work employee appreciation days, customer appreciation events, grand openings, community festivals, hotel and venue events, and open houses. Whether it happens under a park pavilion or inside a conference room with strong air conditioning, we have worked it.

You can see the full range of what we do for businesses on our corporate events page, but the short version is this: if your event has people at it, we can make those people smile.

What One Vendor Actually Saves You

Booking entertainment piece by piece means separate contracts, separate deposits, separate arrival times and separate points of failure. If the face painter cancels, the balloon vendor does not care. You are the one scrambling on a Friday afternoon.

With LOL Cartoons, you make one call and one plan. We coordinate our own artists, stagger the stations so there is never a dead zone, and adjust on the fly if one line gets long. Your job on event day is to eat a burger and take credit for a great event. That is the whole job.

Picture Your Company Event in August

It is a Saturday morning at the park. Families start arriving and the kids spot the face painting station before their parents finish parking. By noon there is a line of tiny superheroes at the food tables and a balloon unicorn taller than its owner making the rounds. Two of your longest tenured employees are crying laughing at their caricature. Someone from accounting has glitter in their hair and zero regrets.

On Monday, the photos land in the company group chat and the people who skipped are quietly annoyed. That is what a well planned summer event does for a team, and it is far easier to pull off than most planners think.

Summer Dates Fill Up Fast. Lock Yours In.

Here is the honest reason to move now: there are only so many summer weekends, and they always go first. Every company in the metro is planning around the same picnic season you are. The earlier you reach out, the better your odds of getting the exact date and the exact mix of entertainment you want.

Call Lawrence at (405) 412 2894 or Julisa at (405) 408 0605, or email lawrence@lolcartoonsok.com. Se habla Español. Tell us your date, your headcount and your crowd, and we will build the right entertainment plan around it. You can also book online and we will get back to you fast.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book entertainment for a summer company event?

As early as you can, even if the details are not final yet. Summer Saturdays book first, especially around holiday weekends. If you have a date and a rough headcount, that is enough to hold your spot. Weekday events usually have more room, so a Thursday afternoon appreciation event is easier to schedule on short notice than a Saturday picnic in July.

How many entertainers does our event need?

It depends on your guest count and how long the event runs. As a rough guide, one face painter can get through around 10 to 15 faces an hour depending on how detailed the designs are, and a caricature artist works at a similar pace. For larger crowds, we combine multiple artists and stations so the lines stay short and nobody spends the afternoon waiting. Share your numbers when you call and we will recommend the right setup instead of leaving you to guess.

Is the face paint safe for kids?

Yes. We use only professional grade, FDA approved products that are safe for skin, and everything comes off easily with soap and water. Honestly, the hardest part will be convincing your child to wash the design off at the end of the day.

Can you set up outdoors in the summer heat?

Absolutely. Outdoor picnics and park events are the heart of our summer season. A shaded spot under a pavilion, tent or tree works best for the artists and the paint, and it keeps guests comfortable while they wait their turn. Indoor events work just as well. We cover offices, hotels, restaurants and event centers all year round.
